Job Description


We’re seeking a highly efficient, hard-working individual to join a successful, growing business based in Watford. As a result of continuous growth, we are looking to add an experienced account manager to our team, who has knowledge and experience of any or all of the following:


  • Upselling
  • Time Management
  • Order Processing
  • Problem-Solving
  • Ability to delegate and communicate necessary tasks


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a customer facing sales related role. This is a busy role managing a varied and busy workload. Ideally the successful candidate will also have experience managing a small team, although this is not essential. This is a permanent position, and the business is looking for the candidate to start immediately, although we will be prepared to wait for the right candidate.


The purpose of this role is to manage the whole account delivery function and develop our clients' experience.


Responsibilities include:


  • Manage key customer accounts
  • Problem solving customer issues and providing excellent customer service
  • Supporting the sales director and field sales people to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Providing information and costings
  • Up-selling products and spotting opportunities for increasing business
  • Managing the lead systems and running through customer queries
  • Converting customer queries into bookings where possible
  • Provide customers with recommendations on products
  • Liaising with internal departments
  • Implement systems and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Implement and manage quality control system on customer database


The ideal candidate will have;


  • Previous experience in managing customer accounts
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
  • Experience managing or supervising customer service staff
  • A proactive approach to work

  • Ability to take responsibility for customers (monitoring spend, and feedback)
